Spy Shots Reveal Redesigned 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe SUV
The Hyundai Santa Fe SUV has been a staple in the Hyundai SUV lineup since its debut back in 2021, offering family SUV practicality, Hybrid and Plug In Hybrid variants, and an extremely affordable starting MSRP of $28,750. Consequently, the Hyundai SANTA FE SUV is a familiar sight during daily commutes. However, the latest spyshots hint that Hyundai is taking the Santa Fe in a new direction. Featuring all-new H-Pattern daytime running lights (assuming H for Hyundai), the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe (codenamed MX5) also features a rugged, boxy body style — a radical shift from its original contoured sleek exterior. Many have commented that the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe is reminiscent of a Land Rover Defender, and I agree. The main difference is that the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe seems to have wheel fenders that don't extend as much as the Land Rover Defender. The final detail regarding the exterior is the addition of a "Seamless Horizon Lamp", an illuminated light bar reminiscent of the redesigned Sonata and 2024 Hyundai Kona.
Our Thoughts on the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe
Honestly, the redesign of the Hyundai Santa Fe SUV is a welcome one. Personally, I believe the previous Santa Fe exuded confidence and elegance, while the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe demands attention to its traditionally aggressive body style, but also draws attention to its futuristic technologies. The Santa Fe is expected to be released during the latter half of this year, so we'll keep you updated as more details arrive!
