Hyundai Ioniq 7: The All-Electric 3-Row Flagship SUV

The Hyundai IONIQ 7 concept was first revealed at the 2021 LA AutoMobility Show, wowing the automotive world with its bold exterior, expansive lounge-like interior, and futuristic design cues. Hyundai has been pretty quiet since then, but we do have some tidbits of information that might prove helpful if you’re considering an electric 3-row SUV in the near future. Now without further ado, here’s what we know so far about Hyundai’s exciting IONIQ 7 SUV!

2024 Hyundai IONIQ 7: Release Date

An official release date has not been confirmed as of yet. However, many speculate that the IONIQ 7 will release in late 2023 or early 2024.

2024 Hyundai IONIQ 7: Electric Range

The 2024 Hyundai IIONIQ 7 will utilize a new cross-brand E-GMP platform, and will most likely utilize a bigger battery due to its heft size. Electric range is expected to top out at 300 miles, but this could just be the case for the base model. If there is (hopefully) a long-range variant, 300+ miles would be an easy task for Hyundai.

2024 Hyundai IONIQ 7: Interior

If you remember the Hyundai Seven Concept, I’m sure you can recall the beautiful interior that resembles an upscale hotel lounge. Featuring swivel seats, a completely flat floor, ambient lighting, and a transparent rear, the IONIQ 7 feels and looks like a lounge on wheels. Although the loungelike interior is highly impressive, it’s unclear if it’ll make it to the production model. Although it is interesting, we can be sure that the Retractable Control Stick featured in the concept will not make it to production.

2024 Hyundai IONIQ 7: Features

Swiveling seats, mini refrigerator, Full Panoramic Glass Roof with OLED screen capabilities, L-Shaped Sofa, and coach doors are just few of the many features that the 2024 Hyundai IONIQ 7 concept showed off. We truly hope these features make it into production as Jose Munoz, CEO of Hyundai Motor America commented that the IONIQ 7 concept will closely resemble the production model.

2024 Hyundai IONIQ 7: Pricing

The 2024 Hyundai IONIQ 5, the only other electric SUV made by Hyundai, starts at $41,450.  Knowing this, the newer and larger IONIQ 7 may start at around $50,000 to $55,000.
